Learning Rashi Script
Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki (1040 - 1105), more commonly known by his acronym - Rashi, is one of the most important rabbis of Jewish history. He is known for his famous commentaries on the Torah and the Talmud, and is considered one of the great sages of the Jewish tradition.

For hundreds of years, Rashi's commentaries on both the Bible and the Talmud have been printed in was is usually called Ketav Rashi, or "Rashi Script." This script is actually a type of Sephardic cursive script. Once you've mastered the square script (Ketav Ashri), Rashi script is a handy thing to learn, especially if you plan to do research on Torah and learn from the Torah sages.
